8 Trader Joe’s Treats to Fill an Easter Basket

1. Soft Strawberry Licorice Twists: Licorice may not be a classic Easter treat, but we think these strawberry licorice twists make for the perfect addition to any basket! They’re nice and sweet and packed with strawberry flavor. If you’re a licorice fan, Trader Joe’s also sells a black licorice version.

2. Gluten Free Madeleine Cookies: There’s a lot of candies and chocolates on this list, so these small cakes are a nice change of pace. We love the light blue on the packaging, and the cookies are light and mildly sweet. They’re even better with coffee or hot chocolate!

3. Sour Jelly Beans: Jelly beans are a mandatory addition to any classic Easter basket, and these sour little jelly beans add a twist with their slightly tart flavor. We especially love pairing these with a salty snack for that sweet and salty combination. If you’re not a jelly bean fan, keep reading for a chocolate alternative below.

4. Cheery Lemon Animal Crackers: These fun and sweet little crackers are… well, cheery! You’ll love snacking on them, and their bright yellow yogurt coating and rainbow-colored candy sprinkles are sure to brighten up any Easter basket.

5. Peas & Carrots Sour Gummy Candies: These fun-shaped gummy candies are perfect for an Easter basket, especially for a sour-loving loved one. Unlike some other gummies, their chewy and gummy texture comes from fruit pectin instead of gelatin.

6. Oat Chocolate Bars: The Trader Joe’s Oat Chocolate Bars are a favorite in households across the country and for good reason. Not only are they rich and delicious, they’re also dairy-free and totally vegan… but you’d never know by tasting them.

7. Candy Coated Chocolates: These colorful little gems are sure to spark joy in anyone who receives an Easter basket (even if that person is you!). We like these as an alternative to jelly beans if sweet little jelly beans aren’t your favorite.

8. Dark Chocolate Covered Cherries: Fruit and chocolate are natural partners, and cherries with chocolate may be the ultimate combination. We like these in an Easter basket because they’re a delicious combination of sweet dried fruit with rich dark chocolate.
