Trader Joe’s just released a brand new ice cream flavor, and if you like caramel, you might love this one! Made with Dulce de Leche (similar to caramel), it’s a sweet treat that we can’t wait to enjoy this summer. We reviewed this new ice cream from Trader Joe’s and share our thoughts below.

Trader Joe’s Review: Dulce de Leche Ice Cream

Trader Joe’s is known for making truly amazing ice cream flavors, so when we heard about this new Dulce de Leche Ice Cream, we had to try it!

Dulce de Leche is a thick, sweet, and caramel-like sauce that's made by slowly heating sweet milk. It looks and tastes just like caramel, so it’s a natural match for ice cream. Trader Joe’s says that this is a limited-edition flavor, and we hope they’ll keep it around through the summer for all our ice cream cravings on warm days.

Why we love this ice cream:

• Rich and smooth Dulce de Leche sauce swirled throughout the pint

• Great-tasting ice cream base

• No toppings needed, it’s all in the ice cream!
