Trader Joe’s Review: Strawberry Overnight Oats

If you’ve never had overnight oats, they’re a convenient and simple meal-on-the-go, dense with nutrients and fiber. We love overnight oats, and were excited to see Trader Joe’s release these Strawberry Overnight Oats this month.

If you enjoy yogurt for breakfast (or if you wish you could eat yogurt but avoid dairy), you may want to try these overnight oats. Like yogurt, you can add toppings and enjoy them for breakfast, or eat them as a snack at any time of the day.

Why we love these:

  • Great strawberry flavor

  • Gluten-free and dairy-free (soaked in coconut water instead of dairy)

  • Convenient and easy to eat-on-the-go

Trader Joe’s is selling these Strawberry Overnight Oats for $1.99 at our local stores, so give them a try and see if you’re an overnight oats fan!

This Week’s Featured Snack:

Joydays Cookies

We’ve been watching our sugar intake recently, so naturally we were VERY interested when we heard about these new, low-sugar cookies from Joydays.

After trying all three flavors, we can honestly say that we could barely tell the difference between these and regular cookies… despite Joydays cookies containing only 3g sugar per serving!

Why we love Joydays cookies:

  • Only 3g sugar per serving (a serving of Oreos has 14g sugar!)

  • Great taste, perfectly sweet

  • Soft and chewy cookie

  • High in protein and fiber

Joydays cookies are available in three flavors: chocolate chip, double chocolate, and peanut butter. We tried them all by buying the variety pack, and while we loved them all, our favorite was the classic chocolate chip cookie!

Last week, we asked you: what’s your favorite Trader Joe’s from their hall of fame? The results are below, and most of you love their Spinach and Artichoke Dip!

27% of poll participants chose the Spinach and Artichoke Dip as their favorite, and no one voted for the Chili Tortilla Chips. Here’s what some of you had to say about your favorites:

  • “Ice cream sandwiches are a nice treat here in Naples.” - Ann in Florida

  • “Love the artichoke dip.” - Debbie in Ohio

  • “Our house loves the apple cider when it is available in the fall.” - Meredith in Vermont
